Why it is mandatory

Hajj and Umrah gather millions of pilgrims in crowded conditions — ideal for meningococcal transmission. Saudi Arabia therefore requires every pilgrim to show proof of quadrivalent (A, C, W, Y) meningococcal vaccination as a visa and entry condition.

Timing and validity requirements

The certificate must be issued at least 10 days before arrival and within the vaccine's validity period — polysaccharide vaccines are valid for 3 years, conjugate vaccines have a longer validity window per current Saudi requirements.

The vaccine and certificate

A single quadrivalent dose protects against serogroups A, C, W, and Y. We administer the vaccine and issue the required certificate — bring your passport for accurate documentation.
