How to Book

Booking is by phone, WhatsApp or contact page — a brief conversation covering what you need, time that suits, and any preparation instructions. The consultation is Rs. 450; all other costs are confirmed before anything is done.

For urgent situations — a high-risk HIV exposure within ~72 hours, severe acute testicular pain, severe pelvic pain — say it is urgent when contacting: flag prioritizes appointment because some situations genuinely cannot wait for a routine slot.

For specific services with timing constraints — a fresh lesion for herpes PCR, a NIPT draw from ~10 weeks, a fertility monitoring visit on a specific cycle day — mention service when booking so timing is planned correctly.

What to Say When Booking

A brief description is enough — "I need an STI screen", "I have a lesion I want checked", "I need a sexology consultation", "I want an IUI assessment". You do not need to disclose more than you want; clinical detail comes at consultation.

The useful things to mention: any specific urgency (the ~72h PEP window, a fresh lesion within ~2–12 days, severe pain), any timing constraint (cycle day for fertility, gestational week for NIPT), and any preparation service needs (first-catch urine for a NAAT — first urine of day or held ~1–2 hours).

What Happens at the Visit

The visit is private: a consultation covering concern or exposure, examination or specimen collection where needed, and plan — what is being tested, what it costs, when results come, what happens next. Consultation Rs. 450; everything else confirmed before proceeding.

Results are delivered confidentially by your chosen channel — a return visit, a call, a message — and where positive, management is at same service rather than a separate journey.

Urgent Situations

The situations that should not wait for a routine slot: a high-risk HIV exposure within ~72 hours (PEP is time-limited — earlier is better), severe sudden testicular pain (torsion must be excluded within ~6 hours), severe pelvic pain in a possibly-pregnant patient (ectopic is dangerous differential), and high fever with a new exposure.

Say "urgent" when contacting — flag is what prioritizes response. For genuinely life-threatening situations (suspected torsion, suspected ectopic with collapse), go to emergency care directly rather than waiting for any clinic.

Preparation

Most visits need no preparation. The specific ones: for a urine NAAT — first-catch urine ( first urine of day) or hold urine ~1–2 hours before visit. For NIPT — accurate dating (LMP or ultrasound). For fertility monitoring — know your cycle day.

Bring prior results or records where relevant — a previous positive, a prior treatment course, a prior imaging — they inform consultation. For partner-related concerns, note whether partner will attend (couples are welcome).
