Travel Vaccine Certificate in Nepal (ICVP)
The International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis — the WHO "yellow card" — is the only legally accepted proof of vaccination at international borders. We issue it at our Kathmandu clinic.
What is the ICVP?
The ICVP is the internationally standardized vaccination certificate — a yellow booklet recording vaccines received, dates, and official stamps. Border health officials check it for yellow fever, meningococcal, and other required vaccinations.
Validity periods
Yellow fever: certificate valid 10 days after vaccination, then for life. Meningococcal for Hajj: valid within the Saudi-required window (typically 3–5 years depending on vaccine type). Keep your ICVP with your passport when traveling.
Getting your certificate in Kathmandu
Bring your passport — the ICVP must match your travel document details exactly. The certificate is completed and stamped at the time of vaccination at our Kathmandu clinic.
